How to raise peacock balls

How to raise peacock balls

1. Normal lighting

Peacock balls like sufficient sunlight. They can only grow better under full sunlight and their leaves will be more beautiful. If the stems turn green, it may be due to insufficient light. If it grows in a dark place without light, it will become weak, especially in winter. It needs to be placed outdoors in full sunlight to ensure its growth needs.

2. Water supplement

When it comes to watering, it is rather casual. It cannot be kept moist all the time. Watering should be done according to the growth status. The amount of water required during the vigorous growth stage is relatively high, and watering about once a week can meet the growth needs. During the cold winter period, when the temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius, you don't need to water, or watering once a month will be sufficient. Be careful not to water too much, otherwise it will cause water accumulation in the potting soil and the roots will begin to rot.

3. Pay attention to ventilation

Also pay attention to ventilation and promote normal air circulation. Do not keep it in a stuffy and windless place. This will not only be detrimental to growth, but may also breed pathogens and cause growth problems for the entire peacock ball.

4. Temperature maintenance

It likes a warm environment and is suitable for growing at moderate temperatures. In summer, the temperature should not exceed 30 degrees. Water can be sprayed to cool it down. Keep warm in winter, preferably above 5 degrees.
