Sweet potato, a legume, is rich in dietary fiber. Sweet potato planting conditions

Sweet potatoes kept in the shade for a long time are not conducive to the growth of the plant or the fruiting. Sufficient light needs to be provided during the growth process to promote photosynthesis and synthesize the nutrients needed for plant growth.

Sweet potatoes are highly adaptable and are drought-resistant but not cold-resistant. During maintenance, water them as much as possible in small amounts and multiple times to keep the soil slightly moist. Avoid flooding with large amounts of water to prevent water accumulation in the soil and inhibit root respiration. Sweet potatoes are best grown in loose, breathable, and well-drained sandy loam. When planting, you can sprinkle some organic fertilizer on the soil.

Sweet potatoes grow quickly and can usually be harvested 160 to 200 days after sowing . Regardless of whether they are planted in spring or summer, they are generally mature and available in October each year.
