How to sow waxwood

How to sow waxwood

1. Can it be sown?

It is not recommended to use the sowing method for propagating the ash tree, and there is no relevant information recording the sowing method. Its seeds are also difficult to obtain, it is not easy to collect seeds, and it is also difficult to germinate. Therefore, this method is generally not recommended, and success cannot be guaranteed. The best method is cutting, which is the most commonly used and relatively simple to operate. There are also many successful cases that can guarantee survival. There are not many time restrictions for breeding, as long as the surrounding temperature reaches 18 degrees Celsius. Summer and autumn are the most suitable seasons.

2. Cutting method

Before preparing for cuttings, prepare a sharp knife and disinfect it in advance to avoid infection of the wound. Observe the condition of the entire plant, cut off the full and substantial branches, make sure they are strong and vigorous, and control the length to about 10 cm. Then there is the issue of preparing the medium. You must ensure that it is breathable and there should be no water accumulation. Insert the treated substrate and spray water into it to keep it moist, which is more conducive to rooting. Place it in a warm environment and wait until it takes root before transplanting.
