How to make dianthus bloom

How to make dianthus bloom

1. Flower soil

Using suitable soil for growing dianthus is the prerequisite for its growth and blooming. It is recommended to use soil with strong looseness and good water permeability. It is very afraid of waterlogging, so the flower soil used must meet the requirements of good drainage.

2. See the Light

This is a plant that likes sunlight. During the cultivation process, you should choose a location with good light, especially during the growing season and winter, to give it enough light. The summer sun is strong and the temperature is high, so shade must be provided in advance.

3. Watering

In order to achieve the state of dianthus overflowing the pot, the soil must be kept moist. Do not water it halfway, otherwise the water will not penetrate into its roots. In spring and autumn, it is usually watered every 3-4 days, and in summer, it is watered every 2 days.

4. Repotting

Its pot should be changed once a year so that it will have enough space to grow and it will be easier to grow out of the pot. You can repot the plant in spring or autumn every year, but if you don't repot it for a long time, the soil will become airtight.

5. Fertilization

When dianthus is growing, it is extremely important to fertilize it regularly, generally once every 10 days or so. The fertilizer should be well-rotted. It will grow more vigorously if there are enough nutrients in the soil.
