Whether in the south or the north, okra is planted in spring. In the south, it is usually planted around April to June. However, it is also necessary to make constant adjustments according to the local climate, because the temperature is different every year. During planting, the temperature is usually around 20℃.

2. Planting Method

1. Germination: Collect mature seeds from okra or buy them directly. After preparing the seeds, it is best to put them in water and soak them for about 10-12 hours. After taking them out, put the seeds in a cool place, keep the temperature at 25℃, and they can be sown after one day.

2. Prepare the soil: It does not have high requirements for the soil. It is recommended to use loose garden soil. You can add some fine sand and red soil to the soil. This kind of soil is suitable for its growth.

3. Planting: Dig small holes in the soil, and then put about 3 seeds in each hole. After sowing, cover with fine soil. If the soil has a certain humidity, it will germinate within a week.
