1. Maintenance methods

1. Substrate selection: It is suitable for planting in fertile and moist sandy loam with deep soil layer and good drainage and air permeability. The best soil pH value is 5.5-6.5.

2. Nutrient management: The concentration and frequency of water and fertilizer management should be reasonably controlled to avoid fertilizer damage. When applying fertilizer, you can loosen the soil and also pay attention to removing weeds. The base fertilizer is mainly organic fertilizer. After planting, less nitrogen fertilizer should be applied to the seedlings. Young trees can be applied with nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers in a ratio of 1:1:1, which is beneficial to their healthy growth and prevention of diseases and pests.

3. Water management: It likes moisture and is suitable for growing in areas with annual rainfall of more than 1500mm and relative humidity above 80%. After the plants are planted, they should be watered appropriately in sunny weather to maintain soil moisture. In rainy seasons, attention should be paid to timely drainage to prevent excessive waterlogging.

4. Temperature management: It likes a warm environment and is suitable for planting in areas with an average annual temperature above 10°C, and the wintering temperature cannot be lower than -10°C.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Reproduction method: It can be propagated by cutting, layering, grafting or sowing, among which sowing is the main method. Sowing method: Collect mature fruits between October and November every year, rub off the peel and keep the plump seeds. After drying in the shade, store them in sand to germinate, then raise seedlings and transplant them, and plant them between November and February of the following year.

2. Pruning method: It is an evergreen tree and needs to be topped appropriately. After planting, when the tea seedlings grow to 80 to 90 cm in height, the main trunk needs to be pre-cut in time to promote the lateral growth of branches.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

1. Diseases: Its most common diseases include cloud leaf blight and anthracnose. Bordeaux pie can be used for comprehensive prevention and control. Once the symptoms are found, they should be sprayed with medicine in time.

2. Pests: The more common pests include borers, green leafhoppers, red spiders, aphids, leaf rollers, etc. Once found, they should be sprayed with pesticides according to the instructions. During the application of pesticides, pay attention to the isolation safety period and avoid picking tea leaves at the wrong time.

1. Who is it suitable for gifting: The tea has a fresh fragrance, is slightly sweet after being bitter, and has the effects of brightening the eyes and relieving coughs. It is a traditional pure natural health drink in my country with extremely high therapeutic value. It is very suitable as a gift for middle-aged and elderly people, but please note that it is not suitable for pregnant women.

2. Toxicity: It is non-toxic and can be used as medicine. It also has the effect of eliminating bad breath. However, it should be noted that it is cold in nature. Patients with cold body and stomach and pregnant women should not drink it.
