At first, Yin Lanmo was also very hesitant about whether to give up the job she had worked hard for for a long time, separate from her husband, and return to the countryside to live with her children and elderly parents. After expressing her concerns, Lan Mo's husband immediately expressed his support and allowed her to do what she wanted to do and fulfill their garden dream.

With the help of her husband, both sets of parents understood her. After some twists and turns, she decided to do gardening, which would not only satisfy her dream of having a garden, but also allow her to have a career.

The first thing to be solved in building a garden is the land issue. The land connected to Lan Mo's yard belongs to her uncle. At first, she was worried that her uncle would not agree to her requisition of the land. Unexpectedly, her uncle immediately agreed after hearing her plan.

When the garden was just beginning to be built, her most supportive father-in-law unfortunately passed away in a car accident. She had thought about giving up the construction, but then her husband said that his father would definitely want to see the completed garden. So Lan Mo continued on the road to the garden with this belief.

The open space has been abandoned and the terrain is uneven. In order to fill the land, 18 trucks of soil were used to fill the yard of several hundred square meters.

Lan Mo is not a professional and has no idea where to start for such a large area. Fortunately, his younger brother runs around and helps with designing the drawings.

After the drawings were designed, the construction of the garden officially began. The first thing to be built was the pond, which was the most difficult part of the garden. At first, geomembrane was used as the base and gravel was used as the surface.

Later, the geomembrane broke and caused leakage, so the pond had to be dug up and rebuilt. In order to prevent leakage in the future, the bottom of the pond was replaced with concrete.

To increase the beauty of the pond, she also built a small wooden bridge over the pond.

Worried that the garden soil would be washed onto the road by rain, she decided to build a roadbed. In order to avoid illegal construction, no cement was used in the roadbed, and only river pebbles and granite were used.

The courtyard wall does not use traditional wooden fences, but instead uses a more Zen-like bamboo fence.

The courtyard is very large, and to make a bamboo fence you need thousands of pieces of bamboo. Although it is convenient to buy bamboo pieces online, it is a considerable expense. After hearing this, Lan Mo's father said that there were bamboos in his hometown and let him solve the problem.

Although Lan Mo told his father several times not to cut the bamboo by himself, his father said that he was not confident that others would do the work, and that the bamboo cut by others would definitely not be as beautiful and symmetrical as the ones he selected.

There was a thick layer of dirt on the surface of the bamboo. In order to make it easier to paint the fence in the future, she decided to clean it all. The project was so large that her mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother all came to help.

In the process of building the bamboo fence, she also endured a lot of criticism. The villagers who did not understand her kept accusing her of having "nothing to do after eating" and "messing around"... But with the comfort and help of her family, the bamboo fence was successfully completed!

It took a lot of effort to build the plastic flower shed for the gardening exhibition. It took several months of negotiation with the seller to finalize the building materials. During the construction process, the invited master kept complaining about the difficulty of construction, the poor quality of the building materials, etc.

Fortunately, the flower shed was built successfully. By the winter of 2016, Lan Mo's garden had already taken shape.

The journey to the garden continued. After completing the pond, bamboo fence and greenhouse, she began to slowly add flowers and plants to the yard.

After that, she added many more flowers and plants to the garden. By this year, the garden has taken on its most beautiful appearance. I guess those people who laughed at her narrow-mindedness will now feel ashamed of themselves!

From 2016 to 2018, with the support of his family, Yin Lanmo spent two years to realize his original dream of a garden, and created a beautiful kingdom of flowers and plants for his daughter, adding a lot of fun to her childhood.
