1. Maintenance conditions

1. Soil: Sunflowers do not have high requirements for soil because they have good growth ability. However, it is best to use soil with good drainage and humus, and it is best to apply some base fertilizer.

2. Light: It must receive light during the process of growth and flowering, and it is best to grow it in a sunny place. If it is grown in a potted plant, you can move it outdoors to get more sun.

3. Temperature: It is not cold-resistant. The daytime breeding temperature should be adjusted at around 21-27°C. The nighttime temperature should not be too low and should be adjusted at 10-16°C. In addition, the temperature difference cannot be too small, otherwise its stems and leaves may grow too long.

4. Water: Pay attention to watering during maintenance. If there is a lack of water for a long time, its leaves may wither due to lack of water. During the growing season, water can be added once every 1-2 days, and water more often when the temperature is high.

2. Breeding Methods

The method of propagating sunflowers is sowing. The most suitable time is March to April in spring, and the temperature should be controlled at 18-25℃. Before sowing, buy fuller seeds and soak them in warm water before sowing. Prepare the soil for sowing, place the seeds with the pointed end facing downward, plant them in the soil and cover them with a layer of soil.
