How to cultivate the bird flower

How to cultivate the bird flower

1. Soil

The soil requirements are very high. The culture soil must have good drainage function to ensure that its roots will not lack oxygen. You can put a few tiles at the bottom of the flower pot.

2. Temperature

Planting it requires mild temperatures throughout the year, neither too high nor too low, around 20℃ is best. When growing it at home, you need to pay attention to keeping warm in winter and cooling down in summer. If the temperature is not well controlled, it will bloom late or even not bloom.

3. Watering

It requires a certain amount of moisture and a humid environment. But don't water too much or too often, otherwise it will cause root rot. It is cold in winter and the temperature of water for watering flowers is relatively low. It is best to leave the water for a while and wait for the water temperature to rise before watering.

4. Lighting

In seasons with strong light, it is necessary to provide it with a certain amount of shade. In winter, it should be given enough sunlight. Avoid exposure to strong sunlight, otherwise it will easily cause brown spots and the leaves will turn yellow.

5. Fertilization

You can choose ordinary organic fertilizer as the fertilizer, which is conducive to its growth. Proper fertilization can make it grow more luxuriantly. If the fertilization is reasonable and sufficient, it can make it bloom earlier.

6. Repotting

You can change the pot every two years. If conditions permit, it is better to change the pot once a year. When repotting, be careful not to damage the root tissue.
