How does the fortune tree survive the winter in the north (temperature, watering, light, fertilization)

1. Temperature

In winter, the outdoor temperature in northern regions is extremely low. If the money tree is not kept warm, it will definitely be frostbitten. It needs to be moved indoors as soon as possible, but most places in the north have floor heating, so don't place it directly on the ground, but place it high up. Ensure that the temperature is above 12℃ and the indoor temperature should not be lower than 10℃.

2. Watering

Water less during the winter, especially in the cold north, the watering frequency should be reduced. You can water it once every half a month or a month depending on the temperature, as long as the soil in the pot is not too dry. Note that the soil in the pot should not be too moist, and there should be no stagnant water. If the indoor temperature can reach 12℃, you can water it once a month.

3. Lighting

Try to place it in a place with sufficient light. If you keep it indoors, place it on the windowsill. It cannot be said that it is deprived of light throughout the winter. Also, the winter in the north can be very dry, so in order to avoid dehydration of the plants, you should also spray some water to keep them moisturized.

4. Fertilization

Fertilization in this season should also be carried out according to the temperature. If the temperature of the breeding environment is lower than 5℃, fertilization must be stopped, otherwise too much fertilizer will cause yellow leaves. If the temperature is above 12℃, you can apply a small amount of fertilizer.
