How to grow garlic at home

1. Prepare the soil

When planting garlic at home, you need to prepare pots and soil. The size of the pot should be determined according to the amount you want to plant. The choice of soil can be casual. After preparing the soil, put it into the flowerpot and water it appropriately, but do not let the soil become muddy.

2. Choose garlic cloves

Before planting, you must select the garlic carefully. It is best to use garlic with intact skin, and avoid using rotten garlic. Soak the garlic in water, then peel it into cloves and plant them in the soil with the skin on. Otherwise, it will easily rot after planting.

3. Planting

Dig a few small holes in the prepared potting soil, and plant the broken garlic cloves upwards into the soil, or you can directly press the garlic into the soil. Cover the garlic with soil, leaving a little bit of it exposed, then water it appropriately, making sure not to wash away the garlic cloves.

4. Planting and maintenance

After planting, the cultivation pot should be placed in a warmer place with bright light. It will germinate in about a week. If it is a little later, it may be delayed by 3-4 days.
