Homemade water-grown plant nutrient solution

Homemade water-grown plant nutrient solution

1. Rice washing water

Rice water contains many nutrients, but please note that it must be fermented before use. Put the rice water you have saved in a large bottle, screw on the lid and place it in the sun for about half a month. Then add 50 times the amount of clean water and stir it. Then put it in the bottle for storage. You can use it regularly when growing in water. This is a good nutrient solution.

2. Compound Fertilizer

It is also possible to use compound fertilizer to make nutrient solution. The method is to put an appropriate amount of fertilizer in water, then stir it to dissolve, and then put it into a bottle for storage after it is completely dissolved. When growing plants in water, adding a small amount to the water can promote plant growth, because it contains the nutrients of the flower fertilizer itself, which can make the plants grow more vigorously.

3. Natural nutrient solution

Dig an appropriate amount of soil from the fallen leaves in the garden, put it in a pot, fill it with water and stir it, then put it in the sun to dry, and stir it again after the water and soil are separated. Use the same method to store it in a bottle after the water and soil are separated. The water filtered out in this way contains nutrients from the flower soil and can be used as nutrient solution to promote plant growth.

IV. Precautions

When growing plants in water, please note that nutrient solution cannot replace adding or changing water, and it cannot be used for a long time to avoid burning the plants and affecting their growth. It should be added in small amounts regularly. If the water is found to be turbid, it is necessary to change the water. When there is little water, add clean water but do not add nutrient solution.
