Cultivation methods and precautions of fairy finger

Cultivation methods and precautions of fairy finger

1. Temperature

It prefers temperatures between 19 and 32 degrees Celsius to grow, but it is also cold-resistant and can tolerate low temperatures of 1 to 2 degrees. In summer, provide more ventilation and be careful to block strong light.

2. Lighting

It tolerates some shade but prefers more sun. During maintenance, it should be placed in a place with slightly better light. Insufficient light will make the branches and stems thinner, reduce flowering, and affect viewing. In addition, pay attention to the lighting time, which should not exceed 10 hours.

3. Soil

When maintaining it, use soil with good drainage and containing organic matter. If clay soil is used, it will affect the growth. When preparing the soil, you can add an appropriate amount of river sand to improve drainage.

4. Watering

It is drought-resistant and should be watered when the soil is dry and not allowed to accumulate water, otherwise it will hinder root breathing and cause rot. In addition, note that it will stop growing in winter, so you need to control water at this time. A dry environment is more conducive to wintering.

5. Notes

The pot needs to be changed once every two years of maintenance, and new nutrient soil needs to be prepared at this time so that the nutrients can be more sufficient. Also pay attention to combining it with pruning, and cut off the overgrown and dry branches.
