Stop saying your flowers don't grow, it's because of you

Stop saying your flowers don't grow, it's because of you

Tiger Piranha

1. The pot is too small and too deep

The flowerpot is too small, so the snake plant cannot grow small lateral buds (whip buds), and naturally it cannot grow! The flowerpot is too deep, and I’m afraid of water accumulation so I dare not water it. The leaves of the snake plant will definitely be weak and unable to grow! Change to a shallower flower pot with a larger diameter!

2. The light is too dim

Although Sansevieria can survive in the bathroom, if you want it to grow healthily, you still have to place it under bright diffuse light!

3. The temperature is not suitable

If you keep the Sansevieria in a place below 10 degrees or above 30 degrees for a long time, which is not a suitable growth temperature for the Sansevieria, it would be strange if it could grow!

4. The soil is too poor

Long-term lack of fertilization is also one of the reasons why Sansevieria does not grow. You can water it with more rice water, which is rich in nitrogen.

Pothos

1. Lack of light

If the green ivy is placed in a room with dim light for a long time, the chlorophyll will be somewhat passive and it will naturally grow very slowly, or not grow at all. At this time, it should be placed on a south-facing balcony to ensure that it grows quickly.

2. Insufficient nutrients in the soil

It would be strange if the green radish could grow without "food" to eat, and it is already very considerate that it is not "starved to death"! There are two solutions. One is to replace it with nutrient-rich leaf mold + river sand, and the other is to fertilize the green ivy. If you find fertilizing too troublesome, you can directly use rice water to water the green ivy, but it is easy to attract small insects. It is best to ferment it before watering.

3. Sufficient water

The green radish likes a humid environment. If it is not watered enough, it will not be in line with its temperament. Of course, it will be in a bad mood and will not last long.

In spring, summer and autumn, water 1 to 2 times a week, and spray water on the leaves once a day, spray water twice in summer; in winter, water 1 to 2 times in January. If there is heating at home and the indoor temperature is around 20 degrees, you can water it once a week.

Succulent

1. Less watering

Many people think that since succulents are tropical plants, they naturally don’t need too much water! This idea is totally wrong. Succulents need water to grow fast. While ensuring that there is no water accumulation, you can increase the amount of watering appropriately, and the succulents will definitely grow faster!

2. Too little light exposure

If succulents are exposed to the sun, they will grow very thin and weak. If you water them too frequently, they will be more likely to grow tall and thin. Therefore, take the succulents outside to get some sun! Unless you are burned by the scorching sun in summer, you don't need to shade yourself.

3. Add slow-release fertilizer

The flower pots of succulents are relatively small, and it is easy to miscontrol the amount of fertilizer directly. However, there is no such concern when using slow-release fertilizer. The process of slow-release fertilizer releasing fertilizer is very slow and will not cause succulent roots to burn.

4. Increase the temperature difference between day and night

This is actually the most uncontrollable. If you are a flower lover with more energy, you can put the succulents in a place with sufficient light outside during the day, and put them in a place with relatively low temperature indoors at night. However, overall, it is still quite difficult to create such an environment.

Lucky Bamboo

1. The temperature is not suitable

The suitable temperature for the growth of lucky bamboo is between 16 and 26 degrees Celsius. Temperatures lower or higher than this will slow down the growth of lucky bamboo. Therefore, it is best to buy lucky bamboo in spring, because the temperature after spring will be more suitable for the growth of lucky bamboo.

2. Too few nutrients

Most of the lucky bamboos you buy are grown in water. The nutrients in water are naturally not as good as those in soil, so you can add 1 to 2 drops of nutrient solution every time you add water to the lucky bamboo.

3. Too little light

Although lucky bamboo likes shade, if it is placed in a shaded place for a long time without exposure to sunlight, not only will it not grow properly, but its leaves may even turn yellow! It is best to place lucky bamboo in a living room with brighter light.
