Cultivation methods and precautions of Cynanchum tuberosum

Cultivation methods and precautions of Cynanchum tuberosum

1. Lighting

When caring for it, place it in a place with good light and get more sunlight, so that the leaves that grow will look better. But in summer, you should cover up to avoid sunburn. If placed in a cool place, the leaves will not be full and affect the appearance.

2. Watering

It will go dormant during the high temperatures of summer every year, during which time water should be controlled or not watered. During other growing seasons, you can spray more water to increase the humidity, but there must be no water accumulation. In addition, it is also important to note that the water used should be slightly acidic, which will be conducive to growth.

3. Fertilization

It doesn't need much fertilizer, the nutrients in the soil are enough to enable it to grow normally. However, applying organic fertilizer once a month during the growing season can make the leaves greener and fuller, so a small amount of fertilizer can be applied.

4. Soil

When caring for the plant, you can use peat soil or leaf mold, preferably slightly acidic. If the soil is alkaline, it will stop growing, the leaves will become dull, and it will easily die.

5. Notes

It is a medium to large plant. When caring for it, you must pay attention to changing the pot in time, otherwise the roots will not be able to stretch after growth, resulting in slower growth. When repotting, be sure to choose a pot that is two or three inches larger than the plant to promote growth.
