How to care for water-grown green radish in winter, and what to add to make it grow faster

1. Water culture method in winter

1. Temperature: Water culture is mostly done indoors, and the room temperature should be maintained above 10℃ as much as possible. If the temperature is too low, the water in the hydroponic container will become very cold, which is not good for the plant to survive the winter and can easily freeze its roots.

2. Light: In winter, the hydroponic container needs to be placed in a lighted place, which not only allows it to see the sun, but also effectively increases the temperature. The sunlight is relatively weak in winter, so you can place it near the window all day, but be careful to avoid cold winds that might damage its leaves.

3. Add water: When the water evaporates slowly, you can add less water. Generally, if you keep it indoors, the water will evaporate quickly, so add water in time. It is best to air the water before use, otherwise the roots of the plants will be damaged if it is too cold.

4. Humidity: Usually the indoor temperature is relatively dry in winter. If the humidity is not increased in time, it may affect its growth. The leaves should be sprayed with water appropriately to maintain a moist growing environment.

2. What to add to grow faster

1. Add nutrient solution: The green radish also needs nutrients to grow in water. Add nutrient solution to it regularly to increase the nutrients in the water, and it will grow faster.

2. Add vitamins: Adding vitamin B12 to the hydroponic container can make its roots grow better. You can also add vitamin C to balance the pH of the water and make it grow faster.
