The cultivation methods and precautions of succulent plants

There are many types of Echeveria, such as the common ones are Cashmere, European Purple, Halloween, Red-bellied Wheel Varieties, etc. Each variety has its own characteristics and high ornamental value. Echeveria is different from most succulents. Its leaves are a little thinner, but it is very hardy and easy to grow.

How to grow succulent plants

1. Sunlight

The Master grows vigorously in spring and autumn, so you must pay attention to increasing the light, extending the light time, and maintaining sufficient light. It needs 8 hours of light time a day. This will make its leaves more beautiful and will not grow into the color of green vegetables. It will be more beautiful after coloring.

2. Watering

The succulent plant has strict requirements for water. It cannot tolerate waterlogging and prefers a slightly moist environment. Therefore, it can be watered once the soil is almost dry. When the plant reaches its summer dormancy period, it is necessary to control watering and water less. When the air is dry, spray a small amount of water on the leaves.

3. Temperature

The Master Plant likes a warm environment and is not resistant to high or low temperatures. The temperature in winter should be avoided to be below 5 degrees, otherwise its leaves will become soft and begin to stop growing. It can be moved to a warm place indoors for maintenance. In summer, the temperature is high and the Master Plant will be in a dormant state. Once the temperature exceeds 30 degrees, cooling measures must be taken.

Precautions for caring for succulent plants

The succulent plant cannot tolerate strong sunlight exposure. Remember not to expose it to the sun in summer. If it is exposed to the sun, the leaves will become thinner, there will be more old leaves, and they will wither. The color of the leaves will become very ugly, and some leaves will have sun spots. Therefore, you must protect it from the sun in summer and place it in a ventilated and shaded place with a little scattered light.

Succulent plants do not like overly humid environments, so you need to control watering. They should not be placed outdoors in the rain during the rainy season, otherwise water will accumulate at the roots and root rot will occur. It is best to move them indoors for a few days and then move them outdoors after it stops raining.
