Cultivation methods and precautions of Teyulian

The Jade Lotus is very easy to grow. When caring for it, except for proper shading in the summer, it can be exposed to full sunlight in other seasons. And if it is well cared for, the Jade Lotus will grow very beautifully.

How to cultivate Teyulian

1. Soil

When cultivating a newly purchased special jade lotus, it is recommended to replace the potting soil. Since the original soil has little nutrition and is not very loose and breathable, you can use leaf mold combined with gardening soil and river sand to ensure that the potting soil is loose and fertile, so that it can grow better.

2. Lighting

When growing the jade lotus, it needs sufficient sunlight to make the color of its leaves more beautiful. If there is insufficient light, the color of the leaves will become darker, affecting the appearance.

3. Temperature

The jade plant prefers a warm environment and is not very cold-resistant. If the temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius, it will be frostbitten. It should be kept indoors in winter and in a ventilated place in summer, and the temperature should not be higher than 35 degrees Celsius.

Special jade lotus maintenance matters needing attention

When caring for the jade lotus, you must pay attention to diseases and pests. Black rot is usually prone to occur in a closed, high-temperature environment. Once the disease occurs, it must be isolated as soon as possible, and the rotten parts must be cut off. Also, apply some carbendazim or thiophanate-methyl to kill bacteria.
