Cultivation methods and precautions of horse cherry potted plants

Cultivation methods and precautions of horse cherry potted plants

The horse cherry potted plant is a relatively easy-to-grow potted plant. It is more suitable for growing in a warm environment, but the temperature cannot be too high, so special attention should be paid in the summer. If necessary, it can be placed in a cool place for maintenance.

Cultivation method of horse cherry potted plants

1. Choose a flower pot

Before cultivating a horse cherry blossom potted plant, we must choose a flower pot with good air permeability, preferably a clay pot or a purple clay pot. We must not choose some flashy flower pots for the sake of beauty. The specific size of the flower pot needs to be selected according to the size of the plant.

2. Soil requirements

The cultivation of horse cherry blossoms on mountain stumps requires loose, fertile, breathable and well-drained soil, preferably acidic soil with high humus content. Humus soil and garden soil should be mixed in a 1:1 ratio.

3. Adequate lighting

The growth of the horse cherry requires an environment with sufficient light, so we can usually place it outdoors for cultivation, which can ensure the vigorous growth of the branches and leaves. Otherwise, the growth of the plant will lack nutrients from the sun, causing the branches and leaves to lose their luster.

Precautions for the maintenance of horse cherry potted plants

1. Water appropriately

The horse cherry needs sufficient water during its growth period, and it likes to grow in a humid environment, so we must keep the soil moist to speed up the growth of the plant.

2. Suitable temperature

The most suitable temperature for the growth of horse cherry is around 18-22 degrees Celsius, and the lowest temperature should not exceed 12 degrees Celsius, so you must keep warm in winter, and take cooling measures in summer.
