What are the methods and precautions for growing succulent Raul?

Raul succulent is a common plant among ours. Among the varieties of succulents, it is cheap, easy to cultivate, and can easily grow out of the pot. In addition, Raul succulent itself has a faint fragrance and is highly ornamental.

How to grow succulent Raul

1. Pot soil

Raul succulent is suitable for planting in breathable potting soil. The flower pots can be breathable ceramic pots, clay pots, or purple clay pots. The mouth of the flower pot can be slightly larger, and there should be drainage holes at the bottom of the pot. As for the soil, loose, breathable nutrient soil and granular soil can be used.

2. Watering

During the cultivation period of Raul succulent, you must control the water properly. If you water it a little more, the stems of Raul will grow rapidly, the leaves will be sparse, and the stems and leaves will not be compact enough. When watering, you should observe whether the soil in the pot is dry in advance. If the soil in the pot is dry, just add water to Raul in time.

3. Temperature

If you want Raul to grow healthily, you need to provide a suitable environment. The suitable growth temperature is 15-28℃. As long as this temperature is provided, Raul can grow rapidly. Raul can tolerate a temperature of 5-35℃. As long as the ambient temperature is kept within this range, Raul can grow normally.

4. Lighting

Raul likes an environment with plenty of sunlight. It grows vigorously in spring and autumn, which is also the season when Raul is in good color. It can be moved outdoors to receive sufficient and even sunlight. It should avoid direct sunlight in summer. It can also be placed in a sunny place after being brought indoors in winter.

Precautions for caring for succulent plants

If you want the succulent plant Raul to grow faster, you can cut off the top of the plant in spring or autumn. This will control its continued growth and effectively promote the growth of more buds.

The succulent plant Raul is not resistant to high temperatures. If the ambient temperature exceeds 30℃, it is necessary to avoid the strong sunlight at noon and set up a shade net in advance to avoid burning the leaves. It is also not resistant to low temperatures. The ambient temperature should not be lower than 5℃ as much as possible. If it is lower than 5℃, move it indoors to keep warm and avoid frostbite.
