Water hyacinth likes rainwater or water from ponds. It reproduces very quickly in ponds and will occupy the entire water surface. When cultivating it at home, it is best to use water from ponds. If you use tap water to cultivate water hyacinth, you must expose it to the sun for 2 days to allow the chlorine in it to fully develop before you can use it to cultivate water hyacinth.

2. Lighting

Water hyacinth likes light. When cultivating it, it should be placed in a place with sufficient light. When the temperature reaches above 15 degrees Celsius, the water hyacinth should also be exposed to full sunlight.

Water hyacinth likes a warm environment. The temperature between 18-28 degrees Celsius is most suitable for its growth. In winter, water hyacinth should be placed in a warm indoor place for cultivation, or insulation measures should be taken to prevent frostbite.
