How to care for champagne succulents? How to grow bleeding succulents champagne

Champagne is a plant of the genus Echeveria in the Crassulaceae family. It is also called white champagne and pink champagne. It is a very easy plant to grow and easy to survive. The well-grown champagne succulent is red and purple, and very beautiful.

Champagne succulent cultivation

1. Environment

Champagne succulents prefer an environment with sufficient light and large temperature differences. Except for the summer when the light intensity is high and they need appropriate shade, the color will be more beautiful if they are exposed to more sunlight at other times.

2. Soil preparation

Champagne succulent is relatively drought-resistant and prefers loose and breathable soil, at least half of which should be granular soil, mixed with some leaf mold or peat soil, so that the water evaporates in time after watering, making it easier for the champagne to grow.

3. Watering

Champagne succulent can store water by itself, so there is no need to water it frequently during the growth period. Just wait until the soil in the pot is dry and water it once. If watering is too frequent, the humid soil environment will cause the roots of the champagne to rot.

4. Nutrients

Champagne does not have a great demand for nutrients. Generally, it only needs to be fertilized once every 2-3 months. This can help the coloring and growth of the champagne. Champagne is not easy to grow in groups. If you want it to grow rapidly, it is recommended to use leaf cuttings or beheading to promote the growth of side buds.

Champagne maintenance precautions

1. When the temperature is relatively high in summer, you can cut off the water supply for champagne. If you continue to water it, black rot will easily occur. Watering is also required in the low temperature environment in winter to prevent the plant from being frozen. At other times, you can wait until the soil in the pot is completely dry before watering. When watering champagne, you need to pay attention to keeping it dry rather than wet.

2. Champagne likes a well-ventilated environment, so when caring for it, especially during the growth period, be sure to place it in a well-ventilated environment. In particular, after each watering, a well-ventilated environment needs to be provided to speed up the evaporation of water and avoid water accumulation.
