Time and method of planting fast vegetables

Fast vegetable planting time

The growth cycle of quick vegetables is relatively short, and they can be harvested one month after planting. They are more suitable for growing in a warm environment, so it is appropriate to plant them in spring and autumn. If they are planted in summer, a shade net needs to be built, but they can also be planted in a greenhouse in winter.

How to grow fast vegetables

1. Planting soil: Quick vegetables are more suitable for growing in soil with rich organic content and good drainage. Therefore, when planting, you can use humus soil or garden soil with good air permeability. The soil needs to be deep turned before planting.

2. Sowing and planting: When sowing quick vegetables, you need to select seeds with full grains and no disease, then sow them in the prepared soil and cover them with a layer of soil. After sowing, you need to spray pesticides on the soil to avoid insect pests.

3. Post-sowing management: The growth rate of fast vegetables is relatively fast, so fertilizer and water management needs to be done after sowing. During the maintenance period, water appropriately to keep the soil moist, and apply enough base fertilizer in advance.

Precautions for planting fast vegetables

When caring for quick vegetables, you need to pay attention to the fact that they have a relatively high demand for light, so there must be sufficient sunlight during the maintenance period to allow them to carry out photosynthesis normally. However, when the light is too strong, appropriate shading is needed.
