Sweet potato leaves are generally planted in March and April in spring. They prefer a warm growing environment, so planting at this time is more suitable for growth. In May and June, they can be transplanted, preferably when the weather is relatively clear.

1. Prepare the land: When planting sweet potato leaves, it is best to do so in a plot with deep soil, convenient drainage, loose and fertile soil. This is more beneficial for its later growth. After selecting a good plot, deep plowing is required and fertilizer should be applied.

2. Sowing and leaf cutting: After the land is prepared, you can start sowing. Just plant the seeds directly. They will soon emerge. When they grow to 5 inches, you need to cut the leaves in time. Just cut them directly at the fork of the seedlings.

3. Transplant in time: If you find that the sweet potato leaves have sprouted white roots, you can transplant them. After transplanting, they need sufficient sunlight and fertilizer and water so that they can grow more vigorously.

Sweet potato leaf planting precautions

Sweet potato leaves grow relatively fast and are more prone to aging, so after growing 5-6 leaves on tender branches, they need to be harvested and eaten in time, so that the branches can continue to branch. In summer, if the light is strong, appropriate shading is needed.
