How many years does it take for Moringa seeds to bear fruit?

Moringa seeds have been planted for several years and have produced results

Moringa seeds are a sun-loving and drought-tolerant plant that prefers warm and humid conditions. The most suitable growth temperature is 25-35℃. The best sowing time is early March. It is native to India and is now widely planted in tropical and subtropical regions.

It takes 1-3 years for Moringa seeds to bloom and bear fruit after planting, and the tree can be about 20 years old. If it is planted in a potted plant, it will take 1-2 years to bear fruit.

Reasons why Moringa seeds do not bear fruit

1. The failure of Moringa seeds to bear fruit may be caused by poor pollination. If the pollination of the female flowers is unsuccessful, the plant will naturally not be able to grow fruit.

2. If Moringa seeds do not bear fruit, it may be related to the growing environment. The plant likes to grow in semi-arid areas with rainfall of 250-1500 mm. If the environment is not suitable, the plant will not bear fruit.

Moringa seed planting technology and key points

1. Land preparation

Before planting, apply about 1,000 kg of farmyard manure per acre of land to fully mix the fertilizer and soil, dig fertilizer trenches on the moist surface, and apply sufficient base fertilizer.

2. Sowing

Moringa seeds can be planted by hole sowing, sowing one seed in each hole and then covering with soil about 1 cm. Watering should be done when the soil is dry and when it is wet.
