Is Jasmine afraid of the sun?

Jasmine Light

Jasmine is a light-loving flower and a positive plant. The plant likes to grow in an environment with plenty of sunshine, long sunshine hours and strong light. In this way, the photosynthesis of jasmine will be more vigorous, the leaves will be dark green, and the flower yield will be high and the quality will be excellent.

Jasmine basking in the sun

Jasmine can be exposed to the sun, but it cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. Although the plant likes a sunny growing environment, especially during its growth period, it cannot be exposed to direct sunlight in summer, otherwise the plant will easily be sunburned, especially jasmine grown in pots. The plant's heat resistance is not very strong. In addition, jasmine that has just been repotted or in the seedling growth period cannot be exposed to the sun.

Jasmine Sunburn

1. If the tips of the leaves and stems of the jasmine you grow at home turn yellow particularly severely, it is possible that it has been sunburned. You need to remove all the yellow leaves and stems in time, leaving only the thick and healthy main trunk.

2. After pruning, you need to apply a little carbendazim on the wound of the jasmine to achieve the purpose of disinfection, and then place it in a cool, ventilated environment to dry the wound. After waiting for about 10 days, you can see new buds growing on the plant.
