Kiwi fruit likes an environment with plenty of sunlight, but not too much direct sunlight. It is not very drought-resistant, so the soil must be kept moist and is suitable for growing in an environment with high humidity. Moreover, kiwi fruit is also very susceptible to wind damage, so the maintenance environment should be chosen in a leeward place.

The kiwifruit growing area must be pollution-free and the altitude needs to be below 1,200 meters. It can be planted in hills, plains, terraced areas with gentle slopes, and the pH value of the soil should be between 5-6.5.

Kiwi fruit planting time

Kiwifruit is generally planted in spring from March to April. Due to the large climate difference between the north and south of my country, the sowing time is also different. It can be sown when the average daily temperature is above 11.7 degrees, which is mid-March in the central and southern regions and mid-April in the northern region.

Benefits of Kiwifruit Planting

The yield in the first three years of kiwifruit cultivation is very small, and more capital investment is required. The total cost in the first three years is about 7,200 yuan. The initial yield of kiwifruit after fruiting is about 600-800 kilograms. According to the current market price, a profit of 6,000-8,000 yuan can be made. In other words, if the yield is less than 800 kilograms, kiwifruit cultivation will be a loss.
