Can roses be planted at the doorstep?

Feng Shui of Planting Roses at the Doorstep

Roses bloom all year round and are regarded as auspicious by people, implying "peace all year round". When growing roses, you need to place them in the right position, which not only can play its decorative effect, but also has positive feng shui implications. The area in front of the door is not a closed environment, so it is very suitable for planting roses.

Tips for planting roses at your doorstep

1. Ground planting: Generally, as long as the soil is not garbage soil or very compacted clay, you can plant directly. If it is garbage soil, you need to clean up the garbage and stones and backfill the garden soil before planting.

2. Planting: Cut the cut branches into 10-15 cm branches, insert them into nutrient pots or small flower pots, place them in a place with weak light, maintain the temperature at about 20 degrees, wait for roots to take shape, leaf buds to grow branches, then you can change pots and transplant them.

Breeding Note:

1. Water-soluble fertilizer cannot be used every time you water. The general concentration is 1000 times in spring and autumn, 1500-2000 times in summer, and generally not used in winter.

2. Fertilization principles: Apply fertilizer three times and clean water once. The clean water must flow out from the bottom holes of the flowerpot, so that the nutritional needs of the seedlings can be basically guaranteed.

3. If a large amount of slow-release fertilizer is placed in the potting soil, special attention should be paid to the concentration of water-soluble fertilizer in summer, because the higher the temperature of the slow-release fertilizer, the greater the amount released. If the concentration of water-soluble fertilizer is too high at this time, it can easily cause seedling burn.
