Rose growth environment conditions and requirements

my country is one of the origins of roses, and they are widely distributed in my country. They prefer a warm, well-lit and well-ventilated growing environment, have strong vitality, and are not very strict about climate and soil.

Rose growth temperature

The most suitable growth temperature for roses is 22-25℃, and the night temperature is best around 10-15℃. The plant is afraid of both high and low temperatures. When the temperature is higher than 35℃ or lower than 5℃, the growth of the plant will be affected.

Rose growth humidity

Roses prefer a humid climate environment, and the air humidity should not be too low, preferably around 70-80%. When watering, just follow the principle of not watering unless the soil is dry, and do not allow water to accumulate in the potting soil.

Rose growing soil

Roses prefer breathable, nutrient-rich acidic soil with a pH value between 5.6-6.2. During daily maintenance, you can use leaf mold, perlite, and garden soil to prepare it. Add an appropriate amount of organic fertilizer before planting.

Rose growth cycle and process

The growth of roses goes through stages such as growth, flowering, fruiting and reproduction. The peak growth period is from March to November. When the temperature is below 15℃, the new buds of the plant will stop growing. When the temperature is below 5℃, the plant will begin to enter dormancy.
