Transplantation method of lucky bamboo buds

Transplantation method of lucky bamboo buds

1. How to promote the growth of side shoots

Remove the top buds of the lucky bamboo, leaving only the stems. Then apply some growth nutrient solution on the leaves, which can promote the growth of side buds. After about 15 days, side buds will grow.

2. Transplantation Method

1. Cut off the side buds with sharp scissors, preferably after disinfection, and set them aside to dry the wound for later use.

2. Choose a substrate that has good air permeability and drainage so that water does not easily accumulate. It also needs to contain certain nutrients to ensure growth.

3. Insert the top bud into the substrate and then water it appropriately. Be careful not to water it too much to prevent root rot and the death of the plant.

3. Post-maintenance

1. Fertilization: When it grows, it needs certain nutrients to support it. In spring, summer and autumn, apply fertilizer once every half a month to meet the growth needs of the plants. In winter, it is generally no longer carried out.

2. Water: It likes to grow in a humid environment, but is afraid of stagnant water. Therefore, you need to be extra careful when applying moisture and not apply too much.
