Where do cherries grow?

Cherries are relatively small in size, with beautiful tree posture and bright and crystal fruit. Cherries are high in vitamin C, with 15 mg of vitamin C per 100 grams of cherries. They are also rich in carotene. In addition, they are rich in potassium, have a good diuretic effect, and their fiber can promote gastrointestinal motility.

Where do cherries grow?

Cherry trees grow on sunny hillsides or ditches at an altitude of 300-800 meters. Its taproot is not well developed and its lateral roots are shallowly distributed. It is suitable for growing in sandy loam with loose soil and deep soil layer.

Cherries grow on trees, which are small deciduous trees. They bloom around March in spring, and their fruits mature around May or June. They can grow very tall, up to about 8 meters.

Cherries grow in places with plenty of sunshine. They like light, warmth and humidity. They are suitable for growing in a climate with an annual average temperature of around 10-12℃, more than 150-200 days with an average daily temperature above 10℃, an annual precipitation of around 600-700 mm, and an annual sunshine hours of more than 2600-2800 hours.

Cherries are produced in the United States, Canada, Chile, Australia, Europe and other places, while the main producing areas of cherries in my country are Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Henan, Gansu, Shaanxi, Sichuan and other provinces.
