How to grow succulent plants

1. Choose a pot

Choose one with good permeability, it is best to choose a ceramic pot, try to choose an open pot with a large mouth, and the flower pot should be shallow rather than deep.

2. Soil

The soil for growing succulents should be highly permeable or well-watered. It is recommended to use peat, perlite or vermiculite plus a small amount of base fertilizer and mix them as potting soil. If the soil has many particles and strong permeability, we should use more water during maintenance; if the soil particles are relatively fine and the soil is relatively sticky, then we should water less.

3. Watering

When watering succulents, you should follow the principle of keeping the plant dry rather than wet. At the same time, you should understand the varieties of succulents when watering, because some succulents hibernate in summer and some hibernate in winter. Watering should be strictly controlled during the dormant period, otherwise it is easy to become waterlogged.
