Pothos and Money Tree…Now is the best time to repot, any later will not make it through autumn!

Change the pot of the green radish and it will grow faster!

Recently, many friends asked Huahua, why is the green ivy in my house not growing? You haven't changed the pot for your green radish since you brought it home, so of course it won't grow!

Specific operation of repotting:

1. Hold the bottom of the root of the green radish with your hand, turn the flower pot upside down, and gently tap the edge and bottom of the flower pot to remove the green radish from the pot.

2. If the green radish is too dense and the roots are tangled together, separate the green radish along the stem, then trim the roots with scissors and cut off rotten and old roots.

3. After pruning the green ivy, in order to prevent root rot after repotting, it is best to soak it in a solution of carbendazim. After soaking for 30 minutes, take it out and place it in a ventilated place to dry.

4. The soil for replanting the green radish can be a mixture of leaf mold, pine needles and perlite. This kind of soil is breathable and rich in nutrients, which can meet the growth needs of the green radish.

5. After potting, water it thoroughly and place the green radish in a cool and ventilated place for about a week, then slowly place it in a place with good light for maintenance.

Change the pot of your money tree and the roots won’t rot for 10 years!

Huahua has a 3-year-old money tree at home. Its leaves have turned yellow in the past few days and it looks lifeless. When they pulled it out, they found that its roots were rotten!

Specific operation of repotting:

1. When removing the money tree from the pot, first hold the bottom of the trunk and shake it gently. After the soil in the pot becomes loose, turn the pot sideways and pull out the money tree.

2. If watering is improper or the soil in the pot is not breathable in summer, black rot will easily occur at the roots of the money tree.

3. Prepare a sharp knife, scrape off the rotten part of the root of the money tree after disinfection, then soak it in potassium permanganate solution for about 30 minutes, or apply some carbendazim powder on the cut.

4. If black rot occurs on the money tree, it means that there are bacteria in the previous soil. When using it again, you can put it in the microwave for a few minutes, or use new soil.

5. Do not water the plant after repotting. Place it in a cool and ventilated place for maintenance. Water it thoroughly after 3 days.

Change the pot of Clivia and the flower buds will pop up non-stop!

As the leaves increase and the root system grows, the Clivia needs to be repotted at a certain stage. Otherwise, it would be like an adult wearing children's clothes all the time, which would definitely be uncomfortable!

Specific operation of repotting:

1. Before repotting the Clivia, stop watering for about 10 days (depending on the size of the pot). This way, repotting will not cause too much damage to the root system and it will recover faster later.

2. After removing the Clivia from the pot, clean the soil at the roots, and then cut off the rotten roots and useless hollow roots.

3. Place a few broken tiles on the water hole of the flowerpot to prevent it from being blocked by soil during watering later. The new nutrient soil is mainly composed of leaf mold and pine needles. In order to increase air permeability and water permeability, a small amount of coarse sand and charcoal residue can be added.

4. When potting, first spread a layer of nutrient soil at the bottom of the pot, then turn the Clivia upside down, fill the middle of the funnel-shaped root system with nutrient soil, grab the roots with your hands and put them into the pot. This will ensure that the soil in the pot is evenly distributed without damaging the roots.

5. Hold the roots with one hand and fill the soil with the other hand. When filling, you can mix a few grains of compound fertilizer into the soil. After filling the soil, press the edge of the pot tightly, not too hard near the root part, and then water it thoroughly.
