What fertilizer to use for lucky bamboo

What fertilizer to use for lucky bamboo

1. What fertilizer to use for fertilization

1. Soil culture

It is best to apply compound fertilizer to soil-grown lucky bamboo. This kind of fertilizer is cheap and can be purchased directly from a flower shop. When we apply a proper amount of compound fertilizer, it can make it grow thicker and its leaves will be greener. The best time to apply fertilizer is in spring and autumn, but remember not to apply it too often. Once a quarter is best.

2. Hydroponics

The most suitable fertilizer for hydroponics is nutrient solution. If you cannot prepare it yourself, you can buy it directly. The nutrient solution is used quite frequently, basically once a month, especially when changing the water, adding a little nutrient solution can ensure that it obtains sufficient nutrients.

2. Homemade Fertilizer Water

1. Brandy

If you have brandy at home, you can drop a few drops into it when hydroponically cultivating it. This will help it grow. Apply it once every three weeks and also after changing the water.

2. Aspirin

If you have aspirin tablets that are about to expire at home, you can also use them to make nutrient solution. First, grind the tablets into powder, then put them into 500 grams of water, and then drop them into the hydroponic container. It is best to do this once every half a month, so that the leaves can always be green.

3. Apply water

Water trapping means we take a little tap water and place it in the sun for 2 to 3 days. This can remove toxic substances in the water and also increase the oxygen content in the water, making it more suitable for plant growth.
