1. Form

Sesame grass, also known as sesame flower and false dragon head, belongs to the genus of grass in the Lamiaceae family. Its native habitat is North America, but sesame grass is now cultivated in many parts of the world. Its leaves grow opposite each other, are lanceolate in shape, and have circles of small serrations on the edges of the leaves.

The height is not high, the whole flower is between 60 and 120 cm, with beautiful leaves and bright flowers. It generally grows in clusters. After planting one plant, it can often reproduce patches of seedlings on its own. The grass is tall and straight, with a special shape, moving with the wind.

3. Breeding

It is suitable for growing in an environment with moderate temperature, but it also has a strong ability to tolerate cold. It grows well in places with suitable sunlight, but cannot withstand excessive sunlight. The suitable growth temperature is 18-28 degrees. You can place the flower pot next to a south-facing window to give it enough sunlight. If it is placed in a shady place, it will not only affect its normal growth, but also its flowering.

During the high temperatures of summer, you must take care of it and spray water on the plant more than ten times a day, 12 times is best. Do not let the edges of the leaves burn or fall off due to dryness and dehydration.

In autumn, when the temperature drops, the flower pot should be placed in a south-facing window, sheltered from wind and rain, to keep the soil moist and at a warm temperature, and the grass will sprout and grow again in the spring of the following year.
