How to grow Anthurium hydroponically

How to grow Anthurium hydroponically

1. Breeding environment

1. Light: The hydroponic Anthurium needs about 2-3 hours of light. Do not keep it in a dark and sunless growing environment for a long time. In summer, it is best to place it in a well-ventilated location without strong light.

2. Temperature: The temperature in summer is relatively high, the highest temperature cannot be higher than 28℃, and the lowest temperature cannot be lower than 14℃. When the temperature is too low, adjust the temperature appropriately to avoid frostbite.

3. Change water: Change the water regularly and trim off the rotten roots when changing the water. Normally, you only need to change the water every 2-3 days. The frequency of water change does not need to be too high. In winter, you can change the water every 7 days. When changing the water, add some nutrient solution.

2. Common pests and diseases

1. Common insect pests include red spiders, whiteflies, aphids, scale insects, etc., which can be removed manually after discovery. And ventilate frequently during the maintenance process, and use pesticides to spray if the insect pests are serious.

2. Common diseases include anthracnose, leaf spot, wilt, etc. Once the disease is found, it should be prevented and controlled with appropriate pesticides in time. And cut off the diseased branches and leaves as soon as possible to prevent it from harming more leaves.
