How to make Kalanchoe bloom quickly

1. High temperature time

The nutritional growth of the whole plant of Kalanchoe must reach a certain volume, and secondly, it must be at the right time. One is the high temperature time. The Kalanchoe is in a dormant state. It has to wait until the autumn cools down and it resumes normal growth before it can bloom quickly.

2. Accept short-day exposure

There is a certain limit to the lighting time, and the plant will only differentiate flower buds when it is lower than this value. Most varieties will further differentiate flower buds only when the lighting time is around 6 hours, that is, less than this period. Under normal circumstances, the temperature is too low and flower buds can only differentiate in late autumn and early winter.

3. Shading treatment

If you want it to bloom as soon as possible, you can use artificial intervention to make it differentiate flower buds as quickly as possible. It means artificial shading. Expose it to the sun in the morning, and then cover it with black cloth in a dark environment in the afternoon. If it is not allowed to see any light, changes in the length of light will further differentiate the flower buds. During the shading process, do not expose yourself to light or starlight. The shading time cannot be interrupted and the shading process must be continued.
