How to grow big-headed orchid

1. Breeding environment

1. Soil: To grow big-headed orchid, you need to use loose soil rich in humus. Always keep the soil moist as it likes a moist environment.

2. Watering: Make sure the soil in the pot is moist and water thoroughly, but do not water too much to avoid root rot due to poor drainage. However, be careful to water less when first planting.

3. Light: The big-headed orchid likes sunlight. It can receive sunlight appropriately, but not for too long. When caring for it, it is best to place it in a well-ventilated and bright place, especially in summer, and avoid direct sunlight.

4. Temperature: Provide it with a growing environment of 18-25℃. It will enter a dormant period in winter. At this time, it is best to control the temperature at 10-12℃. The minimum temperature cannot be lower than 5℃, otherwise it may be frozen.

2. Breeding Methods

1. Seed propagation: It is best to sow at a temperature of 18-20℃. At this time, it will germinate quickly after sowing. Be careful when transplanting not to damage its roots.

2. Bulb division propagation: Bulb division is usually done in 3-4 fish meals. Plant the small bulbs around the mother bulb. Do not cover them with too much soil when planting. It is best to expose the top of the small bulb. It will take about two years to bloom.
