How to grow tiger skin plant quickly

How to grow tiger skin plant quickly

1. Sufficient water

If the plant is propagated by cuttings, then the first watering must be thorough. After that, you can judge whether watering is needed by observing the condition of the soil. If the soil is moist, do not water it temporarily, and do not allow water to accumulate. Water the soil as soon as it dries. Do not let the soil dry for a long time, as this will greatly hinder the growth of the plant.

2. Adequate lighting

Light is absolutely essential for promoting plant growth. But the direct exposure time should not be too long. Note where it is placed. It is best to place it in a place with plenty of diffuse light and less direct light.

3. Appropriate amount of fertilizer

The main time to apply fertilizer is during the growth period. It is better in spring and autumn, and no fertilizer should be applied in summer and winter. Usually once or twice a month is enough. If there is less nutrition in the soil and the plants are not growing well, you can increase the frequency of fertilization. Liquid fertilizer can be used, such as bean cake water, sesame cake water, etc. However, the amount of fertilizer applied at one time should not be too much, and the concentration must also be controlled.

4. Suitable temperature

Under suitable temperature, the plant will grow relatively fast. Just keep it at around 23 degrees. Neither too high nor too low is good.

5. Soil and basal fertilizer

Choose fertile, well-drained soil. It can be prepared by adding three parts garden soil to one part coal slag. Also add basal fertilizer, such as animal manure or bean cake fertilizer.
