How to deal with the rain orchid after it withers

The flowering period of Zephyranthes is from May to October, during which time it will bloom 5 to 6 times, each time blooming successively. Before the next batch of flowers blooms, if the previous batch of flowers shows signs of decay, they should be removed in time, which will help increase the flowering time. After the flowers wither, you can dig out the bulbs and transplant them into other pots. Each pot can plant 3 to 5 bulbs. When digging bulbs, be sure not to damage the mature root system. If there are many leaves on the bulbs, you can cut off the upper half of the leaves. In this way, when the next flowering season comes, you can easily produce two pots of flowers.

Things to note during the rain orchid season

In fact, the vitality of Zephyranthes is very strong. It is not afraid of exposure to the sun, high temperature, or wind and rain. Its flowering period comes after the wind and rain, which further proves its vitality. Therefore, when cultivating it, try to place it outdoors. You don’t need to pay special attention to anything before and after the flowering period. Just maintain normal maintenance methods, and then quietly wait for the arrival of a storm at the turn of spring and summer. After the storm is the moment we have been waiting for for a long time: the flowers are in full bloom.

If you are a lazy person and want to grow some ornamental plants, I highly recommend growing a few Zephyranthes. They have a long flowering period and bright flowers, and most importantly, they meet the definition of being lazy, so you don't need to take too much care of them.
