How to grow a lucky tree

How to grow a lucky tree

1. Breeding environment

1. Soil: Choose loose, fertile and well-permeable soil, which is very beneficial for the growth of the lucky tree.

2. Fertilization: Apply quick-acting liquid fertilizer once a month during the growth period. Because a lot of nutrients are required, fertilize frequently. Stop fertilizing when the temperature is higher than 32°C in summer and lower than 12°C in winter.

3. Watering: Ensure sufficient water in high temperature seasons, but do not allow water to accumulate; control the amount of watering in spring and autumn, as long as the soil in the pot is kept moist; reduce watering in winter, otherwise water accumulation and root rot will easily occur.

4. Light: In the summer, the sunlight is strong, so provide proper shade. In the winter, increase the light appropriately. When growing it indoors, place it in a sunny location. If you place it in a dim room for a long time, it will easily shed its leaves.

2. Breeding Methods

1. Seed propagation: Dry and store the seeds after they mature. Soak the seeds for 3-4 hours before sowing. After drying, mix the sand and spread it on the seedbed. Cover with a layer of soil and a layer of film. After the seedlings emerge, remove the film and shade them. When 4-5 large leaves grow, they can be transplanted.

2. Propagation by cuttings: Cut 1-2 year old woody branches, generally 15-20 cm in length, remove all the leaves, and insert them in the seedbed. Keep the seedbed moist. After it grows a complete root system, you can transplant it.

3. Common pests and diseases

1. A common disease is leaf spot, which is usually caused by high temperature, high humidity and lack of ventilation. You can spray 600 times diluted 50% carbendazim wettable powder once every 15 days.

2. The main insect pests are scale insects. If the number is small, you can just wipe them off with a rag. If the number is large, you can spray 1500 times diluted 25% cypermethrin wettable powder to eliminate them.
