Put some pine bark in the pot, the flowers will not rot for 10 years, and new sprouts will grow quickly!

Using pine bark to grow flowers

Fresh pine bark:

1. Fresh pine bark cannot be used directly and must be composted.

2. Cut fresh pine bark into small pieces and put them in a plastic bag. Add clean water, squeeze out the gas, seal it, and place it in a high temperature place to decompose. It takes about three months for the compost to be fully mature.

3. Take out the decomposed pine bark, dry it, and then put it in bags for storage. Soak it in water before use, and then place it at the bottom of the pot as base fertilizer or on the soil surface, which can retain water and allow air to flow.

Dried pine bark:

1. Pine bark that appears to have been dry for many years does not need to be composted anymore because nature has already completed the process.

2. Chop the dry pine bark into pieces, expose it to the sun to sterilize it, and then place it at the bottom of the pot, or use it as a surface.

It should be noted that:

1. Do not use rotten pine bark. Putting it in a flowerpot will easily block the flowerpot, affect air permeability, and may contain bacteria, which is not good for the flowers.

2. Pine bark is very suitable for growing orchids, so flower lovers may wish to give it a try.

Using willow bark to grow flowers

Fresh Willow Bark:

1. Fresh willow bark can be boiled in water before use.

2. Cut the willow bark into pieces of 1~2cm, then put it into a pot and add water to boil.

3. When the water turns black during boiling, it means that the nutrients in the willow bark have been released.

4. Let the boiled willow bark water cool down, then mix it with water in a ratio of 1:8 and use it to water the flowers.

5. The substances in willow bark can promote rooting. Using it to water flowers can promote the rooting and germination of plants. Below is a Phalaenopsis orchid that has been watered with it.

Dried Willow Bark:

1. Dry willow bark and willow branches can be used to grow flowers. First cut them into small pieces of 1~2 cm.

2. Expose it to the sun or soak it in a carbendazim solution for half an hour for disinfection.

3. Place the processed willow bark at the bottom of the flowerpot, which is permeable to water and air and promotes rooting.

It should be noted that:

Whether it is a pine tree or a willow tree, we cannot deliberately destroy the tree just to get the bark.

Cinnamon powder for growing flowers

1. Although cinnamon powder is a food ingredient, it is essentially tree bark. Ground cinnamon powder can be used to grow flowers and has the effect of killing bacteria and repelling insects.

2. Dig a small hole in the potting soil and pour in some cinnamon powder to effectively drive away ants.

Peanut shells for flower cultivation

1. You can light the peanut shells on fire, then crush the burned peanut shells and mix them directly into the soil. This will make the roots of the flowers grow stronger.

2. You can also compost the peanut shells before using them.

①Put the peanut shells in a sealed bag, add water, and then place them in the sun to decompose.

② After half a month, the peanut shells turn black and are fully decomposed.

③ Dry the decomposed peanut shells and mix them with sand, which will have a very good effect of retaining water and allowing air to pass through.
