Put some of this in a pot and it will still grow quickly even without changing the pot for 10 years!

Do I need to change the pot?

If the plant is healthy and the pot is suitable, there is generally no need to repot. Repotting is very likely to damage the plant, and if you are not careful, it will not survive the adaptation period.

The picture below shows two plants in one pot before repotting.

The picture below shows the plant dying after repotting.

Since repotting has risks, is there any way to make the plants grow better and better without repotting? Huahua will tell you now~

Add some sand to prevent soil compaction

Every six months to a year, the soil in the flowerpot becomes hard and dry, which is not conducive to the plants' absorption of oxygen, water and nutrients.

The picture below shows plants in compacted soil, which are obviously lacking in nutrients.

To avoid soil compaction, you can put water-repellent and breathable sand at the bottom of the pot.

Outdoor sand may contain bacteria and insects. You can soak it in carbendazim for about 20 minutes.

After drying, add some peanut shells or nut shells and spread them on the bottom of the pot.

Continue adding soil and plants

Finally, spread a layer of sand on the surface of the basin.

In addition to sand, clay particles, loofah, nut shells, etc. can be laid on the bottom of the basin.

Eggshell fertilizer

As plants continue to grow, the nutrients in the soil become less and less. At this time, adding egg shells, peanut shells, melon seed shells, etc. can supplement nutrients such as calcium, nitrogen, and phosphoric acid.

Rinse the eggshells and dry them

Crush the eggshells. The smaller the eggshells, the easier it is to decompose and absorb.

Dig a shallow trench near the plant

Pour the crushed eggshells into

Cover it with soil

Water it and wait for the flowers to grow vigorously.

Peanut shells can also follow the above steps

Soybean water and rice washing water as fertilizer

The tiny eggshell is not a panacea, the fertilizer that can be used for watering is the most effective! What should I pour?

Soybean water: Soak raw soybeans in a plastic bottle for 3-4 weeks until they are fully decomposed. When watering, add a few spoonfuls of this water to a ladle of water to make the leaves thicker and greener.

Fermented rice water: put it into a plastic bottle and place it in the sun for a week. The fermented rice water is acidic and can be used to water camellia, Milan, gardenia, and azalea!

Fruit peels and leftovers as fertilizer

For plants that are seriously lacking in nutrition, we must use our trump card and make our own all-purpose fertilizer to ensure that they will thrive!

Fruit fertilizer: leftover fruit will do. Here I use watermelon rind, chopped up.

Mixed with flower soil, the mixture is really ugly

After mixing, seal it up. Huahua used a disposable packaging bowl.

The weather is warmer now, and it will become fertilizer after fermenting for more than a month. Just add it to the flower pots that need fertilizer. Don't add too much at a time~

Leftover fertilizer: Use kitchen leftovers and pour them into the soil

Stir well

Put it in a plastic bag and tie it tightly

It takes 1-2 months to add fertilizer. Because it is nutritious, it should be added according to the specific situation of the plant. If you can't make the plant fat in one go, you will be burned to death by the fertilizer.

Okay

These are Huahua's latest technologies
