How to make Zephyranthes bloom

How to make Zephyranthes bloom

1. Choose a pot

It is a very beautiful flower that is easy to grow. If you want it to bloom more and keep blooming for a long time, you need certain skills. The size of the pot is chosen according to the number of balls. If there are many balls, the pot must be larger. Generally, an ordinary flower pot will be enough. A 20 to 30 cm pot can generally hold five to six bulbs, while a medium-sized pot can hold ten bulbs.

2. Soil

It is very suitable for survival in fertile sandy soil, so it is best to choose this type of soil, which should be breathable, loose and able to drain. When planting, the distance between each bulb should be 3-5 cm, and then cover with 2-3 cm of soil.

3. Watering

After planting, you just need to water it. It is easy to care for, as long as the soil is moist enough. Generally, water it in the morning or evening. In fact, its life force is really strong. It is not afraid of scorching sun, high heat, wind and rain, and it even blooms after the rain. Therefore, when raising it, you can try to place it outdoors, without paying special attention to anything. When the wind and rain come at the turn of spring and summer, it will bloom in full bloom.

4. Fertilization

You can use organic fertilizer, or nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to fertilize it. You don’t need to use it too often. Just fertilize it once every two or three months. This will make its flowers grow better and more. It should be placed in a sunny place. If the light is not enough, it will affect its growth and will be very bad for its bulbs. The suitable temperature is 22-30℃. When caring for it, you must pay attention to it every day and don't ignore it from time to time. Only in this way can it bloom with flowers that fill the pot.
