How to grow Albizia Julibrissin

temperature

Albizia Julibrissin is a temperate, subtropical and tropical tree species. It prefers a warm environment and the suitable temperature for its growth is 13℃-18℃. It can withstand temperatures as low as minus 10℃ in winter, but it grows slowly in a cold environment.

When growing Albizia Julibrissin in the southern regions, there is no need to move the flowers into a greenhouse in winter.

illumination

Albizia julibrissin prefers sunlight and is not shade-tolerant, so during the growing period, you must provide sufficient sunlight. However, the summer sunlight is too strong, so shade is still needed to avoid leaf burns.

soil

Albizia julibrissin does not have many requirements for soil, and its roots contain rhizobia, which have the ability to improve the soil.

It is tolerant to poor soil and mild salinity, but grows best in fertile, moist, well-drained sandy loam and limestone loam.

Fertilization

Albizia Julibrissin does not require much fertilizer and can be managed in a rough manner. It can thrive even in poor soil.

Things to note when growing Albizia julibrissin

Dislike noise

Albizia julibrissin does not like noise and dust when growing, so you need to control the surrounding sound when growing it, and be careful not to grow it in areas with severe air pollution.

Water moderately

Albizia julibrissin can tolerate drought but not waterlogging. Do not water too much during maintenance to avoid waterlogging, which will affect the respiration of the roots and cause rot of the plant roots.

Less pruning

The Albizia Julibrissin is a shallow-rooted tree species with weak sprouting ability, so try not to prune it during daily maintenance and just maintain its normal growth rate.
