1. Water cultivation in advanceIf you want the daffodils to bloom on New Year's Day, you must water them before November 15th. In South China, you can water them 32 to 35 days in advance, and in Central and East China, you need to water them 40 days in advance. During the winter in the north, the indoor temperature is generally relatively high, so water cultivation can be carried out 35 days in advance. This is because the longer the narcissus heads are stored, the earlier they will bloom after being grown in water. 2. Time to change water for water cultureWhen growing it in water, you must change the water every few days. You cannot leave it without changing the water for a long time, otherwise the water quality will become very unclean. And if it is too long, the nutrients in it will become very little and cannot meet its good absorption. Therefore, under normal circumstances, you need to change the water every 2 to 3 days to ensure that the water is clean so that it can bloom earlier. 3. Water temperatureThey prefer warm places underwater, are very intolerant of cold, and are very afraid of high temperatures. It can grow very well between 5 and 20 degrees and has high ornamental value. However, if the ambient temperature of the daffodils exceeds 25 degrees, it will become difficult for them to bloom; therefore, during the process of water cultivation, the temperature should change by 7 to 8 degrees every day, and a constant temperature cannot be used. In addition, when cultivating daffodils, you must be careful not to let them be damaged by frost, otherwise its leaves and flower buds will easily wither, and they will not bloom on New Year's Day. 4. Light during water cultureLight is actually a very important reason for daffodils to bloom. It prefers sunlight. If you keep it in a dark place for a long time, its flowering period will be very long and it will not be able to bloom in time. Therefore, when you first start to grow it in water, you should put it in a cool place with a temperature of 10 to 18 degrees. After it grows new roots, put it in a place with better sunlight. It should be exposed to at least 6 hours of sunlight a day so that it can bloom on time on New Year's Day. |
