How to fertilize the money tree so that the leaves are lush and beautiful!

Time and method of fertilizing money tree:

When the temperature reaches 20 to 30 degrees, the money tree can grow. During the growth period, it can be fertilized 2 to 3 times a month. The fertilizer can be a mixture of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers and urea, or calcium nitrate. If you are lazy, you can fertilize the money tree once a month. The fertilizer can be a special liquid fertilizer. In order to prevent the leaves of the money tree from turning yellow, you can mix some ferrous sulfate in the fertilizer.

After late September, fertilization should be gradually reduced, and nitrogen fertilizer should also be avoided. Phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can be used, and 2 to 3 times of application is sufficient. This will greatly help the money tree survive the winter, and it can also make the new leaves fuller and thicker.

When the temperature drops below 15 degrees, stop all fertilization work, as low temperature can easily cause the roots to be damaged by fertilizers.

If you encounter the money tree blooming, there is no need to apply additional fertilizer. Just follow the normal fertilization procedures, because the flowering period of the money tree can only last for one day at most. It is the same whether you apply fertilizer or not. Just do normal maintenance.

Notes on fertilizing money tree:

The fertilizer for money tree is mainly liquid fertilizer. In order to prevent the soil from being too wet and affecting the healthy growth of money tree, fertilization must be coordinated with watering.

The amount of fertilizer and water must be controlled well. If there is too much, the roots will easily rot.
