How to grow Cyperus rotundus?

Choice of flowerpot and soil

The best time to plant the Cyperus rotundus is from March to April every year, and from October to November in autumn. The slipper orchid needs a breathable environment, so when choosing a flower pot, try to choose a unglazed ceramic pot. It is not recommended to use plastic pots or ceramic pots with floral patterns. When choosing soil, try to use original ecological soil.

temperature

The best growth temperature for the Cyperus rotundus is between 10 and 20 degrees. If the temperature exceeds 25 degrees, it is necessary to cool it down immediately, otherwise the Cyperus rotundus will easily be killed by heat. In the south and north of my country, when the temperature is too high, it is necessary to move the fish indoors with cold air, otherwise it will be difficult to breed them successfully.

Watering

A slight lack of water during the growth period of the Cyperus rotundus can cause damage to its health. So you need to observe frequently. If the soil is 80% dry, you just need to water it. Be sure to water thoroughly each time you water. The frequency of watering depends on the dryness and wetness of the soil.

illumination

When the sun is too strong, provide adequate shade. If you want to expose your petals to the sun, you can do so before 9 a.m. and after 6 p.m. But in the hot summer, avoid direct sunlight at any time.

Planting and soil preparation

Before planting, remove the old leaves from the newly sprouted branches and the rotten roots. Then place the processed branches with new sprouts flat in the flowerpot, cover them with a thin layer of soil, and make sure all the new sprouts are exposed. Finally, spread the soaked white moss on the top of the flowerpot, and water it thoroughly at once, but do not allow accumulation.
