Hemerocallis cutting propagation method

Hemerocallis cutting propagation method

time

Daylilies are best propagated by cuttings in spring and autumn.

Cuttings

The adventitious buds can be cut off and used as cuttings.

Cutting method

Plant the adventitious buds in the potting soil, pay attention to moisturizing, apply a small amount of slow-release fertilizer when rooting, and then place it in a half-sun or full-sun environment. Wait until the root ball is fully grown before transplanting it into the pot for planting. After the plant blooms, you can apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizers after the flowering period ends each year to promote root enrichment and flowering in the next year. After the plant fills the pot, divide it every 3 years to stimulate plant regeneration.
