Cutting propagation method of blue snow flower

Cutting propagation method of blue snow flower

Cutting time

The best time for propagation of blue snow flower cuttings is from spring to early summer or from late summer to autumn. Cuttings in the hot summer are easily infected by bacteria, and cuttings in winter take root slowly.

Cutting selection

In spring, you can carry out cutting propagation in conjunction with repotting and pruning. In summer, you should choose strong and full young branches and semi-mature branches for cuttings. In summer and autumn, the cuttings should have the flowers removed and some leaves cut off.

Cutting method

Choose a suitable flowerpot and potting soil, moisten the soil and insert the treated cuttings. The suitable temperature for rooting of cuttings is 20-25 degrees, and the rooting time is 2-3 weeks. After the root ball grows out, it can be planted in the flower trough.
